Much of this research will fall under the scope of the Committee on Microbiological Safety (COMS) and require committee approval prior to initiation. Please review the types of experiments and materials that are subject to COMS review or ask your Biosafety Officer to help you make this determination.

The biosafety level of the research will be determined aligning with regulatory guidance, including National Institutes of Health Biosafety Considerations for Research Involving SARS-CoV-2.
